Danah (aka Solita) is the founder + principal of Studio Solita. Solita began as a childhood nickname bestowed upon Danah by their father, as a way to lovingly affirm the unique ways they shined their light. They continued to embody the name as an artist and community curator. In childhood, solita spent a lot of time in sanctuaries, in community centers, on and around stages, and in the arms and at the feet of the matriarchs in their life who taught them about how art heals.
